So last week ended with an absolute bang when I enjoyed my Friday morning off in the kitchen concocting a colourful smoothie which went on to be featured on Nutri Bullets Facebook, Instagram AND Twitter accounts as well as Glenisk’s Instagram and Facebook accounts along with recognition from Kilner UK also!! I was massively excited to see my food featured on these major accounts and given the interest they drummed up I thought I should share the recipe. It didn’t take too long but neither was it my quickest blend because of the two layers so not one for a rushed morning. It also has a lot of fruit and no veg so not an every day breakfast either.

Nutri Bullet UK

Ingredients
Base Layer:
A Handful of Frozen Raspberries
A Sprig of Fresh Mint
50g Glenisk Natural Greek Yoghurt

Top Layer:
1/2 a Mango
50g Glenisk Natural Greek Yoghurt
1 cup Coconut Milk (not tinned!)
1 Tablespoon of Flaxseed
Grating of Fresh Ginger
1 Tsp Turmeric
Sprinkling of Cinnamon

Method:
1. Blend all ingredients for base layer to a thick paste and spoon into glass
2. Blend all remaining ingredients and gently layer onto base
3. Top with crushed raspberry and mint sprig and enjoy!
